OUR CLIENT:

Morestaff are urgently looking for experienced LGV 1 drivers for a major food distribution company in St Albans.

AIM OF ROLE:

As a LGV 1 driver you will be delivering goods to supermarkets in and around London and the surrounding areas. 2/3 drops a day. Shifts run 24/7 and can offer various start times including weekends and nights. Shifts are a minimum of 8 hours Monday to Friday, weekends and part timers welcome. Positions on offer include full time, part time and ad hoc to suit you.

Duties include:

·Delivery of goods in a timely and efficient manner

·Reporting vehicle defects

·Completing delivery notes

SALARY: Up to £20 per hour

ABOUT YOU:

• Licence held for a minimum of 2 years
• Strictly no more than 6 points on licence
• Digital Tacho Card required
• A strong knowledge of local routes and motorway networks
• Understanding of driver hours and work time directive
