Denise Day FREC
Director
Denise has 19 years of experience in recruitment and co-founded Morestaff in 1991. Her main area of expertise is in LGV recruitment where she has a very "hands-on" approach. She is a fellow of the REC and this deep involvement with them brings close ties with the driving sector as a whole. She was short listed for the Royal Bank of Scotland's Business Woman of the Year in 1995.
Denise is married with a daughter and has a huge boxer dog called Ruby. In her spare time, she plays netball, dances and watches boxing. She has a strong moral code and is naturally fair, objective and honest. This, together with her attention to detail, gives her a very professional, yet personal approach. Perhaps it also goes some way to explain how Morestaff build such long lasting relationships with clients, staff and workers.
Both Denise and Kathy have a philosophy of ensuring clear communication and putting people first. This has reaped rewards throughout the whole company, from the successful sales team at Head Office through to the area of client services. In their friendly, persuasive manner, they have even been heard singing down the phone to potential workers!
Kathy Doran FREC
Director
Kathy has 21 years experience of the recruitment industry and co-founded Morestaff in 1991. She has travelled extensively and this has served to enhance her experience in general. Working in America has given her a useful insight in to the international approach to recruitment.
Kathy has a creative mind and this gives her the ability to identify and to seize new business opportunities as and when they arise. In spite of this creativity, she keeps very involved in the day to day running of the business and it is under her guidance that Morestaff has grown to the thriving business it is today.
She is a Fellow of the REC which illustrates her impeccably high standards and her professional approach. This is also reiterated by the short-listing of Business Women of the year in 1995.
Kathy has two children, a small dog and a love of art and painting. Like Denise, she has a very bubbly personality. Indeed, their infectious good humour runs right through the company making Morestaff an enjoyable place to work and a great place to deal with.
National Gold Award
Morestaff have been awarded the Recruitment and Employment Confederation's "Gold Award" for Outstanding Service to the Recruitment Industry. This is the highest achievable award and has never before been given to one person or an agency. The REC decided unanimously, however, that Morestaff should receive the honour as a tribute for being outstanding ambassadors for the REC.
